WATCH: Munmorah Power Station chimneys demolished

Munmorah Power Station’s twin 155m-high chimney stacks fell to the ground on Sunday morning, marking the end of an era.

Hundreds of locals gathered to watch the historic demolitionof the power station, claimed to be the largest in Australia in the 1970s.

The Delta Electricity power station, located in New South Wales’ Central Coast, had employed thousands of workers in the 45 years between 1967 and 2012.
